You will receive hands-on training experience in various techniques, including skimming plasterboard, setting finishing beads, skimming existing plaster, and repairing and bonding damaged areas.

Suitable for people of all skill levels, whether you are a beginner or an experienced tradesperson, this course will teach you how to use plastering trowels, tools, and equipment, as well as the usage and characteristics of different types of plaster. You'll also learn how to correctly use primers and bonding agents, types of plasterboard and their uses, and how to mix plaster correctly.

All necessary equipment will be provided for the duration of this course, but be sure to bring old clothes as you are likely to get dirty during the hands-on training course. Additionally, you'll learn how to prepare backgrounds, set up as self-employed, and adhere to site health and safety guidelines.
